Mr. Reveiz has over 18 years of working experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, mainly in energy and power generation in Africa and Latin America and the US.
He has worked mostly in transactions related to public utilities services and independent power producers (IPPs) structured under project finance and non-recourse schemes. He served as Principal Investment Officer at the African Development Bank (AfDB) at headquarter in Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire) where he lead the financing by the AfDB of about 200 MEUR in several power transactions, mainly hydro projects, with a total installed capacity of nearly 500 MW.
He previously worked for private large and medium/small size sponsors such as AES Corporation and KMR Power Corp in the USA as project developer.
He has also advised international clients and utilities, working in transaction in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
Mr. Reveiz holds a MSc. in Finance from Reading University in the UK and is a Civil and Hydraulic Engineer from the “Universidad de los Andes” in Colombia and from “Ecole National d’Hydraulique et de Mécanique de Grenoble” in France.
He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
