He has over 40 years of experience of engineering and economics in the power industry on a variety of technologies (hydropower, thermal and nuclear).
He worked most its career with Electricité de France (EDF) in its Studies, Economic and Investment divisions, assisting other divisions of EDF on projects assessment and development on undertakings in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Some of these projects include pump storage power facilities in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Iran and the hydro BOOT of Nam Theun 2 in Laos.
Mr. Malengé holds a Civil and Geotechnical Engineer degree from “Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire de Lille” in France and obtained a diploma on nuclear reactors in France.
